Game 109: Memory 4

Positive-Trivial: Eating dango with his mother during a festival of some sort
What It Was: fanon!
Itachi is about five. There's a festival celebrating the Shodaime Hokage's victory over Uchiha Madara lo these many years ago, and Itachi and his mother go out to visit a sort of night market thing, with little carnival games and booths selling street food and other goods. The memory opens with Itachi and his mother dressed in semi-formal clothing (yukata, probably) as befits both the occasion and their status as members of the Uchiha's clan's head family. They've been walking around for a while and are getting tired when Itachi notices a dango stand. He asks his mother for some dango, and she buys him two sticks and one for herself. They find a bench and sit down to eat their delicious glutinous rice treats, just as fireworks start in the distance.
What He Learned:
- Mmmm dango om nom nom
- Sweet tooth get! Which is vaguely hilarious considering he hasn't eaten anything sweet in Sabra yet, I don't think.
- At this point is someone were to describe Japan to him, he'd probably find it very familiar
- His mother is obviously pregnant, so that gives him a rough idea of the age difference between himself and Sasuke (he doesn't seem to have had any other siblings, so he feels safe assuming it's Sasuke in her belly at the moment)
- Mommy! <3 Please let me not have really killed her.
- Basically happyfamilyfuntimes, even if his dad wasn't around for some reason.
